AI Software Engineer

About the role

You will help companies use AI where it creates real operational leverage. Your work will sit across the value chain: spotting repetitive workflows, designing practical automations, building internal tools, and helping teams adopt AI software such as Claude and OpenCode in their day-to-day work.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can build web software, understand business processes, and use AI systems to move faster without losing quality.

What you’ll do

• Map workflows across client teams and identify where AI can save them time on repetitive tasks.
• Build internal tools, automations, and AI-enabled web applications that teams can use in production.
• Implement and configure AI software for companies, especially Claude, Claude Code, and OpenCode.
• Create prompts, agent workflows, documentation, and guardrails so non-technical teams can use AI safely.
• Work with founders, operators, and engineering teams to turn AI experiments into reliable systems.
• Use AI coding and research tools yourself to increase delivery speed and quality.

What we’re looking for

• Professional experience building websites or web applications with modern frontend tools.
• Solid TypeScript, React, and general web development fundamentals.
• Practical experience using AI tools to write code, automate work, or improve team productivity.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into software workflows.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English; German, French, or Spanish is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude Code, OpenCode, or similar AI coding agents.
• Experience building workflow automations, internal tools, or agentic AI systems.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Interest in helping companies change how their teams work, not just shipping isolated features.
